Tell us about yourself (name, education, work experience, hobbies, etc.)

My name is Anthony Romano, retired Bloomfield Police Officer.  I attended college, but unfortunately left before obtaining my degree. I served in the U.S Army from 1971 – 1973. My twin brother was in Vietnam at the time which kept me out of the war. After training in the states and Frankfort, Germany I was assigned to an Air Force missile base in Vicenza. Italy for eleven months. I like motorcycles and fine dining with my family and friends.

Tell us about your Italian Ancestry.

My mother was born and raised in Boiano, Italy, a town in the province of Campobasso in Southern Italy.  My father was born in Bound Brook, New Jersey. His family returned to Italy when he was a baby. Ironically, he was an American Citizen before he knew how to speak English😊 From what I remember my parents moved back to the states in 1946.
